ZEN TRAVEL & SERVICES cares about protecting your personal data. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

Data collected

We only collect the information you choose to send us through the site's forms, on WhatsApp or by email:

• identity and contact details: name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, country and city of residence;
• information about your project: destination, dates, number of travellers, budget, services requested, free-text message;
• email address for the newsletter.

Please do not send us passport numbers or identity documents through the forms: we will tell you when and through which secure channel to share them if they are needed for your file.

Purposes and legal bases

• answering your quote, contact or information requests (pre-contractual measures);
• preparing and delivering the services you order: flights, visas, hotels, vehicles, insurance (performance of the contract);
• sending you our newsletter if you have subscribed (consent, which you can withdraw at any time);
• complying with our legal and accounting obligations.

Recipients

Your data is intended for the ZEN TRAVEL & SERVICES team. It may be shared, only to the extent needed for your request, with our travel partners (airlines, hotels, car rental companies, insurers, consulates or visa service providers) and with our technical providers (form delivery service, email, hosting). We do not sell your data.

When you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation is also subject to the WhatsApp platform's terms.

Retention period

Requests that do not lead to an order are kept for [TO BE COMPLETED: period, e.g. 3 years] after the last contact. Data relating to an order is kept for the legal period applicable to commercial and accounting documents. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and trackers

At present, this site uses no audience measurement or advertising cookies, and the fonts are hosted on the site itself. If such tools are added, a banner will let you accept or refuse them before anything is stored.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data, and, where the applicable regulations provide for it, the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@zentravelservice.com stating the purpose of your request; we may ask you for proof of identity.

If you are in the European Union, you can also contact your national data protection authority. If you are in Cameroon, you can contact the competent authority for personal data protection.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. As no transmission over the Internet is completely secure, avoid sharing sensitive information through unsecured channels.
